Charity Golf Day

Now Legal Solicitors are organising a Charity Golf day on Friday 22nd June 2007, which is taking place at Wickham Park Golf Club. All proceeds will be going to the local Eastleigh based charity “Simon Says”.

“Simon Says” is a registered charity (No. 1088746) that is primarily concerned with providing support to children in the Southampton area up to the age of 18, who have lost a close relative or friend, or whose close relative or friend is dying. The charity does not receive any government funding, they rely solely on donations from the local community, your help and support is therefore greatly appreciated.

The Charity Golf Day will take place on Friday 22nd June 2007 at Wickham Golf Club with players teeing off at 9.30am. Players will convene at around 2.30pm for lunch at the Club House; please note that the dress for lunch is informal.  

On-course refreshments will also be provided throughout the day. Where players require assistance Golf Buggies will be provided or alternatively they can be hired at reasonable rates.

There will be 18 teams of 4 taking part, compromising of players from local businesses and individuals. Both novices and experienced players are welcome to take part.  

There is a fee of £200.00 per team or £50.00 for an individual to take part; proceeds raised will go to the charity “Simon Says”. This is an excellent opportunity for you or your business to take part and sponsor a fun event whilst raising money for a local charity.

There will be competitions taking place throughout the day, where teams and individual players will have their chance to win prizes including bottles of champagne and gift vouchers. There will also be a surprise prize for the winner of the coveted title of Tournament Champion.

You don’t need to be an expert or the next Tiger Woods to take part, just an interest in golf and the desire to help raise money for a good cause!
